Our Materials

Our focus from day one is about longevity, quality and to create the least amount of harm to the planet as possible with every cracker we make and sell. I’m pretty obsessive when it comes to the detail, and that’s true of everything that goes into our crackers. 

Our Materials
– Our outer fabrics are the highest and finest quality 100% cotton and are selected for their eco-credentials. 

– All the ribbon is 100% recycled (we tie the crackers shut with ribbon, so there’s no nasty velcro fastening). We hot cut the ends of our ribbon so they don’t fray, making them last longer.

– Each cracker comes lined with reversible linen to keep them at their best for a long life of celebrations.

– Our canisters are made from 100% recycled paper and eco glue. They are also food and cosmetic safe, so you can fill them with food, drinks or cosmetics. 

– Our Happyfetti is 100% biodegradable and fully compostable. Made from plant based materials, which comes from eucalyptus, it is child safe and non-toxic.

Note: Our crackers don’t go ‘snap’ they go ‘Oooo...’ because at the moment there are no reusable, eco-friendly snappers – we don’t mind, there’s plenty of magic still inside - (we are working on that snap though). 

Our Packaging
– All of our packaging is 100% plastic free and 100% recyclable. 

Storing your crackers
We recommend storing your crackers in the box they came in, inside a dry cupboard ready for their next use.

Washing & cleaning
We know those little hands can be sticky from time to time, if you do want to wash your outer fabric, then we recommend washing them on a 40oC wash and hanging them on the line to dry. Do not tumble dry. 

Repair
Sometimes little accidents happen and a cracker is damaged, if that’s the case then please email us and we can see what we can do to help repair your crackers.
